Schools, academies, colleges and education sites across London rely on us for building services.
JE Group Services installs, upgrades and maintains the mechanical and electrical systems in schools, academies and colleges throughout London. Our engineers handle heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical installations, lighting, fire alarms and EV charging for academy trusts, local authority schools, main contractors and FM companies. Education buildings need safe, carefully planned work, so we plan around the school day, term dates and safeguarding.
Holiday & Out of Hours Works in London
Larger projects, including boiler replacements, heat pump installations, lighting upgrades and rewires, are scheduled for the school holidays wherever possible. We plan ahead, order equipment with long lead times early and programme the work so the building is ready when term starts again.
During term time, smaller jobs and routine maintenance are carried out after school hours or at weekends, with engineers following your safeguarding and sign-in procedures throughout.
We provide heating, ventilation and electrical maintenance for schools, colleges and academy trusts across London.
Classrooms need to be warm in winter, well ventilated throughout the year and properly lit for learning. We service and replace commercial boilers and heating controls, install heat pumps where schools are moving off gas, and fit ventilation and air conditioning for classrooms, ICT suites and server rooms. Electrical work includes EICR testing, emergency lighting, fire alarm servicing, LED lighting upgrades and remedial works, giving schools and academy trusts across London the records they need for compliance.
Planned & Reactive Maintenance in London
Heating, ventilation and electrical systems benefit from planned maintenance that estates teams and trusts can track through clear service records, scheduled around the school calendar.
If something fails during term, our reactive service sends an engineer to site to make it safe, trace the fault and keep the school open where possible.
